Can i be in active duty at 17?

you can enlist and join the DEP (delayed enlistment program) at 17 you will need a parents permision, however you will not be aloud to go anywhere until you produce a High school deploma or GED. MOS's you can select all depend on your ASVAB and GT scores. Military life and civilian life are not compairable. Its a whole new expirience.
