Has the motive for the VT shootings been discovered and what religion did this Asian follow?

Very little was known about the shooter today except he was Asian appearing and perhaps an exchange student. His face was blown off and fingerprints so far have not matched. Being from Asia he could be Indonesian which is Muslin and wanted to be the first to kill a large number of Americans and gain greater rewards in paradise. All of this is subjective but thoughtful. This did in fact create terror and anything like this should be treated as a terrorist strike. Either foreign or home grown!
