Meta tag help required ?

A guy working in my company had build our company's website using dream weaver.He's no longer with us.Now when I was about to access the site,google sent me a message saying that I need to paste metatag between head and body.However my question is how can I edit the html content of the website...???Plz help I'm not a pro at this....thnks
